Cycling Stories Blog

The Velo-city team is documenting cultures of (urban) cycling in Vienna as well as interesting cultural phenomena from around the (bi) cycling world. In addition to portraits of urban cyclists and 2013 Velo-citizens, you can read about cycling cultures in Vienna. One recent post on the Cycling Stories Blog describes the Vienna Cycling House opened in 2012.

Fahrrad Wien

The City of Vienna aims to raise the modal share of cycling to 10% by 2015 (currently, it is around 6%). To meet this goal, the City Administration established the Vienna Cycling Agency in 2012. Now Vienna is gearing up for cycling promotion with a new brand for cycling: Fahrrad Wien. Have a look at the website of Fahrrad Wien.
