Cycling Visionaries Awards

We are happy to announce the newly established Cycling Visionaries Awards created to diversify the cycling discourse at Velo-city 2013 in Vienna. It is the aim of the Cycling Visionaries Awards to draw attention and recognition to fresh ideas from a multi-disciplinary spectrum about how to promote urban cycling. The award’s beneficiaries are invited as Cycling Visionaries to participate free of charge in Velo-city 2013 and will take part in the global discourse on urban cycling. From now until the end of March 2013, ideas and projects can be submitted online on the Velo-city 2013 website. In February and March 2013, an Internet-based voting will call on the global cycling community to decide about who will be singled out as a Cycling Visionary.

Have a look at what people come up with in Vienna when they get inspired by a frame, two wheels and a few ball-bearings.
